We hiked down the Kiabab trail and back up the Bright Angles
The weather was perfect. Cool but clear with little wind.
Lynette was still quite nervous, but willing to give a go.
Even next to the edge, she was still being a sport.
Of course, she still had sixteen hours to think about it.
We had some time to explore and went over the Hermit's Rest.
A short pre-hike down Hermit's was a little scarry.
The next mornging was cold, but we knew it would get warmer with each step into the canyon.
We quickly got the knack of the switchbacks.
Nice wide staircases helped keep the mind off of the cliff just past the trees on the left.
Ooh Aah point
Again
I like being the hero.
Ops... I looked up! Come back here!
Time to start sheding the warem cloths.
Looks like about half way.
Stinky Mules.
How would the cliffs look from the back of an animal?
This Cairn should help us find our way back.
Passed the bridge test.
Passed the water obstical.
And we survived!
Hey lady, can I take your picture.
Yeah!!!
