    2002

    Before heading to Spokane this year, we ran the Great Potato 10k in Boise (which turned out to be much longer than 10k due to a mistake in course setup.  We also met Stacey at the spaghetti feed the night before and ran into her again on race day. 

    And the catwalk under the bridge was closed this year.  Bummer, that was a fun rest stop.

    2003

    This year's road trip started out three days earlier than usual.  We began our adventure with Trav's Sixth grade "Environmental Field Trip" or EFT in McCall.  While in McCall I had to get the alternator in the ole GrandAm replaced which went out again just as we Arrived in Pullman.  A baseball game, a sleepover and a nice visit with my old work buddy Rollie got us back on the road.  (Thanks Rollie).

    2005

    After racing to Tacoma on Friday for a Scuba World Record attempt (a record that is safe from the likes of us (we were shooting for 700+ divers and only got 300 some)), and after the car gave up the ghost and buying a replacement, we headed back east for this years Bloomsday.  Although we didn't break any personal records, this race is always a lot of fun.

    Just missed the rain.  The trip up included a stop on the top of Steptoe Butte for a little kite flying and hacky-sack.  Thanks to Cousin Ray for the hospitality!

    Took Lynette & Mitchell.  Found a nice KOA in the valley.  Nearly got killed on the way home when some idiot crossed the median on the freeway and straight into our lane.  Couldn't have missed him by more than a foot or two.
