Hubby
We did it kid, we got all the way here,
So lets go on for a few more years.
Let's yodel a song, When the sky's full of moon,
Or maybe a tune when the clock chimes at noon.
Let's pick a flower when they're in full bloom,
And laugh and smile and scatter all gloom.
Together we'll be as they strike up the band
Hand in hand as we stroll this beautiful land,
No closer two people could ever have been,
As I write this all down, with this little OLE pen.
I think of the wonder we met after all,
Thank God it happened, Cause I'm having a ball.
I thank you again for your sweet loving ways,
I'll cherish and hold you for all of my days.
The sun still shines when you are around,
For sure to you dear my soul it is bound.
It's thirty-seven years, from my wedding day,
I recall the sunshine on that day in May.
We'll be together in eternally to,
So be a good boy whatever you do.
