Amazing Jack
The garden's all watered and weeded with care,
Within half the time I used to spend there.
I've found a new tool to make gardening a breeze.
And in just a short time I'm off callused knees.
Toiling near double, forbarenss I lacked,
A noise right behind and I glanced to my back.
The pooch he was digging the weeds left behind,
Now how in the world had I missed this dear find?
I tensed with amazement; He'd not dug a prize,
But touched only weeds, being ever so wise.
His eyes they were smiling, so happy to help,
Jack wiggled his tail and let out a yelp.
From that day forward we work as a pair,
Both happily digging with loving care.
To the lounge chairs we head, two happy faces,
Yes, God sends his help from the funniest places.
