THE STORM
The day dawned fair and humid, and the sun shone hot and bright,
Then cumulus they billowed up, with all there awesome might.
The leaves began to shimmer, In the smallest gentle breeze.
Then slowly stir the dust, and cause the clouds to start to sneeze.
Cascading light develops, as the clouds begin to roar,
The firs bend nearly double, as the rain begins to pour.
Refreshing all the earth, as it moves across the sky,
The air begins to sparkle, as we all let out a sigh.
An orb of light restores itself, to finish off the day,
The moon comes up and sheds its glow, as squirrels come to play.
The evening star it twinkles, as the day must surly pass,
A promise of a new clear day, As dew forms on the grass.
The morrow brings a New Hope, that we all can start a new,
To let our mighty Lord shed his light on me and you,
The storm reminds us all that our Lord will send the light,
But we must be aware and keep his Godly Goals in sight.
